Madera At Treehouse London

If you’re after a rooftop dining experience in London that combines bold flavors, a laid-back yet vibrant vibe, and killer views of the city-Madera at Treehouse London should be on your radar. Tucked away on the 15th floor of the Treehouse Hotel at 14-15 Langham Place, London W1B 2QS, this modern Mexican restaurant is anything but ordinary.

What makes Madera stand out isn’t just the location-it’s the whole experience. You walk in and you’re hit with that warm, welcoming atmosphere: floor-to-ceiling windows, a rustic-chic interior with leafy accents, and soft lighting that turns golden hour into something cinematic. If you're someone who appreciates rooftop restaurants in London, this place checks all the boxes.

Whether you're popping in for breakfast, lunch, or a late-night bite, Madera delivers a memorable dining experience without the stiffness of fine dining. Think of it as elevated casual, perfect for everything from solo dining to group celebrations.

Let’s talk food. Madera at Treehouse London knows how to plate a dish that’s as Instagrammable as it is satisfying. If you’re there for brunch, the Avocado Toast is a star, but make no mistake-it’s no basic brunch fare. With its thick-cut sourdough, rich avocado, and perfectly balanced toppings, it sets the tone for the rest of the menu.

On the savory side, Duck Carnitas Tacos are a favorite for good reason. The duck is tender, smoky, and full of depth. Pair them with King Prawn Tacos if you’re a seafood lover-the flavors are bold, fresh, and balanced with just the right hint of heat. The Manchego Truffle Fries? Absolutely addictive. They’ll have you questioning why you ever settled for plain fries before.

Don’t skip dessert. The Oaxacan Chocolate Cake is rich, slightly spicy, and totally indulgent. And if you're more of a snack-and-sip type, the Chips and Salsa or Great Guacamole served with Tortilla Chips makes for a great shared plate while you take in the skyline.

Madera isn’t just about the food-it’s a legit cocktail destination in London too. The Passionfruit Margarita is the kind of drink you’ll want two of (or three, no judgment). If you're into craft cocktails, you’ll appreciate the bartenders’ attention to detail. They also offer a solid selection of wines, spirits, beer, and great coffee-yes, even their coffee game is strong.

For the non-drinkers or those looking for something lighter, their tea selection is surprisingly extensive. It’s a thoughtful touch you don’t always find in high-rise restaurants.

What keeps people coming back to Madera isn’t just the food or the cocktails-it’s the energy. The place often hosts live music, which adds another layer to the already upbeat atmosphere. And despite being a sleek spot, it’s totally accessible, with wheelchair-accessible seating and restrooms.

The restaurant is known to be popular for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, so make sure you book ahead-especially if you’re aiming for a sunset rooftop table. While they don’t offer delivery or takeaway, that’s kind of the point. This is a spot meant to be experienced in person.

Whether you're a vegan, vegetarian, or a full-on meat eater, the menu is inclusive without feeling like it's trying too hard. They serve everything from small plates to full entrees, late-night bites, and even have private dining rooms for more intimate affairs or business dinners.

And yes, solo diners will feel right at home. The staff is warm and friendly, and the ambiance is relaxed enough that you can enjoy a quiet meal with a book or take in the skyline solo with a cocktail in hand.

Madera at Treehouse London is more than just a place to eat-it’s a full-on culinary and social experience in the heart of London. With its rooftop setting, vibrant menu, and laid-back vibe, it manages to feel both upscale and down-to-earth. Whether you’re visiting the city or a local hunting for your next go-to spot, it’s well worth a visit.

This is a beautiful restaurant. The service, atmosphere, and views are wonderful. We went for drinks and a few small dishes and to be honest for that it was a very expensive pit stop. The best thing we ate were the tacos, the cocktails were fab and the views were lovely!

Had a lovely, weekday birthday brunch! Amazing views whilst eating really nice food. In instagramable spot and I would definitely recommend the steak starter (the other food looked and tasted good too). Was pretty quiet on a weekday.

This is the type of place you can go to talk. I'd advise going at lunchtime. The food was honestly amazing and fresh. Every ingredient used was fresh, and you could tell. Service was very fast and the drinks were very layered and yummy. The char on the octopus was amazing. Even just the fries!! I can't wait to go again. They were so accommodating as it was my birthday and gave us a spot to take pictures. The views of the city are amazing! It's warm and full of light.

The views are great looking west with BBC building in full view. Highly recommend coming at sunset. Blinds are fitted to address glare. The setting is lovely with lots of tropical plants and soft lighting. The Passion Fruit Margarita that I had was excellent. In my opinion the food was a little underwhelming but I guess you come here for the view rather than the food. We did not get the wow from the food we were expecting. Service was good but food comes when ready and not coordinated so starters come after mains, it worked owing to the nature of the food served. I found the base on some of the music a little too high. Wonderful views of the BT Tower from the bar area.

Gorgeous place, fabulous London view! Food packed with flavours and pleasing to the eye! The whole team were extremely polite from the entrance. Outstanding service! We were served by Robert and Piyush, both provided high level hospitality, paid attention to the details and explained the menu in details. The whole atmosphere is exquisite! Impressive details: plants, lights, food elements. I was astonished to learn how the Raspberry jam on the chocolate cake was homemade and how the review QR tickets are implanted with seeds of wild flowers!
